I'm not great at parking, but I either park well or park out in the ends.

The airplanes don't really occupy many spaces, if you'd let people park up close.

Huh, I thought boeing had a massive private airfield in central WA where newly built planes called home while being qualified for air worthiness before being delivered to customers. If that field is full then its time to start shorting boeing stock.

So what? At least it's not spaceship rockets. Or blimps. Or the Starship Enterprise.

/I wish they'd park one in my apt complex so the goofball on the next building would have to park his poor old too loud truck further away.
//I feel sorry for that poor old truck. It's seen better days and sounds like all hell breaking loose, as he lets it run for nearly an hour before it wants to commence the drive. Put it out of its misery already!

I think you might be thinking of Grant County Airport (Moses Lake, WA). Since JAL stopped using it  as a training center and other passenger operations ended almost 10 years ago, they should have lots of room.  They have two runways longer than 10,000 feet.

"You, Mr Plane, are misbehaving. No dessert!"

"But Moooom, it wasn't me! It was some stupid bean counter!"

"That's it! I'm sick of you passing the blame! You're grounded indefinitely! Now you will go straight to your parking spot and think about what you've done!"

Commercial aircraft don't sit in giant parking lots.  They're made to order then put in the air.  When they're not in the air, they're being unloaded then reloaded for their next flight.  Maybe some maintenance but these are practically brand new planes so they're generally supposed to be in the air or about to go back in the air.  Now they're not only not in the air but in the way.

We used to have a guy where I worked, he'd always use two spaces to park his Corvette, security wrote him numerous tickets on it, finally they started booting his car. It went as high as his director and VP before he decided he couldn'y fight it anymore and started parking like a "normal" person.

Boeing hasn't stopped making Max 8 planes; they only reduced the number they make from 52 a month to 42 a month. But they had to stop delivering them. That was at the beginning of April. 3 months later, that's about 128 planes.

The Max 8 is 137 feet long and 118 feet wide. I'm not sure how best to efficiently pack a runway with planes but 10,000 divided by 137 is 66. You only get to fill one of the runways, obviously.

All I've ever seen is that the soonest they will lift the grounding of the MAX fleet is August, so they'll need to find places for at least another 42 to 84 planes. That could get amusing.

Shouldn't they park them in Airbus' parking lot?
Day 1: "Yeah.  We don't know how they got there."
Day 2:  We're sending Steve over to move them, Sorry
Day 3: Steve got there.  Only had the keys to the door.  We're sorry.
Day 4:  Steve's day off.  He scheduled this thinking he'd have all those planes moved.
Day 5: Steve being counciled for his poor performance.  Monday, Greg.  Apologies.

From Airbus:
You have ten minute to move your planes or they will be towed.
Your planes have been towed
You have ten minutes to claim your planes or they will be crushed in to cubes
You have ten minutes to move your cubes

Is the parking lot built to handle the weight of a plane? I think a repaving project is imminent.

There are two Camry's in the parking lot at my apartment building with that exact dent, one silver (as pictured), the other is the very similar champagne color.

Unless it's the spaces closest to the building, I don't see the problem, submitter.

That's why people hate you. Because you take up two spaces up front.

Just FYI. (sigh)

After a flight or two, it may become a compact

My buddy has a huge truck and will generally take two spaces. But he always does it at the back of the lot where plenty of parking is already available.
