Speaking in Beijing, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Geng Shuang said China had firm laws on protecting endangered wildlife and went after those who broke the law.

"We do not shield the illegal activities of Chinese citizens, and support the relevant Tanzanian authority's just investigation of and trying of this case in accordance with the law," he told a daily news briefing.

I have to hand it to China...their respect for the rule of law of their African puppet state is admirable. If she were a US citizen imprisoned by Israel, we would have just had her sent back and she might have done a couple years in minimum security federal.

Assuming she doesn't bribe her way out, this life sentence is impressive.

I'd say she got off easy with only 15 years but based on the Chinese public statement I'd guess she'll get deported to China when she's released and quietly disappear.

Apparently Dancing Queen.    I realized that when humming 'Caribbean Queen' and realizing that the rhyme scheme didn't line up.   And Apparently Part II, I wasn't the only one.

Weird when you think about, because I am guessing that 'Dancing Queen' is empirically a far more well known song.   But, I became a teen in the 1980's, so here we are.

/wasn't the "Lover Boy" video the really strange Star Wars inspired one?
