call me cynical but this seems a lot like something the Russians/far right would be orchestrating since even when macron gave them everything they asked for they simply stepped up their 'protests' and especially since they are now heading to the UK, a country run by a right wing government and in the midst of exiting the EU

Considering how prevalent facebook conspiracy rumors are in the yellow vest "movement", I wouldn't say orchestrated, but it does seem that it's fairly easy to use it to pour gasoline on the fire of general dissatisfaction.  Yellow vest facebook pages are currently claiming that Macron orchestrated the Strasbourg shooting in order to take the heat off of himself.

I'm impressed at how easy it is to take disparate grievances and sew them together into a collective of rage against something.

Get ready for your gun nut, Jordan Peterson-loving cousin to join forces with your anti-vaxxer, Gwyneth Paltrow-sharing sister-in-law into a raging at your government over taxes, but also the price of herbal vagina tinctures and protein masculine virility shakes.
