That explains why the Voter fraud commission, headed by Kobach and Pence closed up shop.

They wanted all voter records to create the ultimate database.
The commission shut down after the dems requested full disclosure.

""We had to get Bannon to approve everything at this point. Bannon was Alexander Nix's boss," said [Chris] Wylie, who was Cambridge Analytica's research director. "Alexander Nix didn't have the authority to spend that much money without approval." "

Bannon oversaw Cambridge Analytica's collection of Facebook data

If anyone's still wondering how the Cambridge Analytica subterfuge is tied to Trump and needs a simple explanation, there it is.

the big thing that struck me in this whole CA mess is that the whistleblower said CA had already planted the seeds and floated trial balloons using the phrase "deep state" before the investigation into Trump/Russia was even known about in the public.  Now how and why would they have pushed this piece of propaganda out there unless they knew what was likely to happen? Unless the mission had always been to pick a fight with the FBI and IC?  Unless they had been directed by Bannon or someone in the campaign to push it out there?

I suspect the 'Deep State' phrase was meant to undermine Hillary Clinton if she'd won the presidency.

Remember, Trump had claimed the election was rigged far before the election. CA likely told him to use that phase often.
After he won, they turned it around and used it to deflect their suspicious activity.

Protonmail or not, these limey f*cks are about to get sorted.

Mueller knows stuff about these people they don't know themselves. He's got everybody's tax returns, everybody's emails and text messages, everything any U.S. agency has PLUS the take from more than one Allied intelligence service. When they did skeevy shiat overseas they were incredibly clumsy about it, and there are NO intelligence agencies that don't keep track of known Russian assets on their soil. Meet with a Russian in a small guesthouse in the backwoods of Latvia and the lady bringing your beer likely works for Latvian intelligence.

Cambridge Analytica is a company that the exceptionally shady SCL Group spun off to apply it's deeply unethical methods in the United States.  They specialize in applying propaganda campaigns for mining and oil companies in the third world.  If you ever wonder why developing nations keep on electing governments that allow foreigners to extract their wealth and give them nothing in return, look no further than SCL Group.  That's what they do.

They knew operating in developed nations under the SCL Group brand would be deeply toxic, so they set up Cambridge Analytica with Brad Parscale at the helm to serve as the fall guy if their efforts blew up in their faces... as is happening right now.

They are nasty people with even nastier ambitions.  No one associated with SCL Group should ever be given a government contract.  They are a demonstrated security risk.  Let's hope that other states follow Massachusetts' lead and launch investigations into CA/SCL Group today.

Also, don't think for a moment that this whole whistleblower thing might not be a scam.  SCL Group is expert at misdirection and diversion.  I don't know what is going on, but it would not surprise me to learn that we were getting played.

He may have it all, but unless it coalesces into something the media can dole out in bite size, easily digestible tidbits, most Americans are going to keep on worrying more about job insecurity and the rising costs of iPhones.  Once I eliminated cable as part of my monthly expenses, I now depend solely on finding the time to cruise the net for news.  I try listening to news when I'm driving, but those 3 minutes at the top and bottom of each hour are more devoted to traffic and weather than anything else.  Talk radio went off my dial when it went all Trump, all the time, and NPR is broadcasting BBC every time I tune in.  It's as if the media doesn't want the people driving to and from a 9-5 job to be aware of anything national.

Discussing a clear point.

The cleansing of Facebook and destruction of CA will sort out a significant amount of b.s...

That's not to say other companies won't attempt to fill the void. But our and the public's awareness will limit their effectiveness.

In time the Russian hacks of voter data in several States will tie in, they didn't gather that info for sport, plus this stuff actually started with the Mercers wanting to influence the Congressional elections in 2014 but we haven't yet heard anything about specifically what campaigns and what was actually done. And that computer link to Alpha Bank from Trump Tower was established and maintained for something...

This is why I don't understand how this suddenly became a problem.

My oversimplified view:
Facebook had decent policies in place regarding data privacy, storage and sharing. They let this info out to select customers who paid enough and who fit their criteria of acceptable use of the data (selling you shiat). But they had gaping holes with the 3rd party garbage like quizzes and games.

Political campaigns exploited these holes, tied the previously blocked fb data to other sources they to build a profile and served targeted ads back on Facebook.

This is my shocked face.

Due to your experience at "wgm, mining engineering and consults ltd" we think you would be perfect for the role "autobody repair technician" at thrifty's (or some low rent auto shop, can't remember)
