A marriage doesn't break off over one thing like Bill being round Epstein. It's a multitude of things.

/never married but come on this is obvious

My second marriage ended. Wake up next to my wife, she turns to me, "Stek, I don't want to be married anymore. lets kill the marriage and save our friendship"

it came out of nowhere. Had no idea she had fallen out of love with me.

Oh well...I guess it happens...

Seemed like a pretty quiet and amicable divorce. People are losing their minds trying to create a conspiracy theory over someone's mundane life. Especially when we all know it was his because of his wife's affair with Batboy.

I instantly knew my marriage was over when I awoke at 2 am to find my wife wasn't in bed, so I went downstairs to find her doing the Brazilian Butt Lift workout. Only a new man would be worth losing her hatchet ass at that point.

Yup, he'll probably be left with something like 1% of their assets after the lawyers are done. I don't know how he'll get by on only...*checks internet reports of their net worth*... $1.24 Billion.  He must have some connections to get a job though, he should somehow make it by.

Sometimes, you realize the person you thought you could spend the rest of your life with isn't that person.  Maybe you met someone more in tune to what you like, maybe they did.  You don't want the person you're already with to suffer, just things went a different direction than you anticipated.  Maybe your careers pulled you apart.  It's not always because someone cheated for no reason.  There's always a reason.

Little history. We met when we were 16. She was my first. (early 80's)

in the mid 90's our paths crossed again and we decided to get married. 5 years roll on and she had fallen out of love with me. There's nothing I could've done. We decided to stay friendly, which we did and now we might e-mail one another on our birthdays.

The good news is we didn't have any kids and our divorce was handled efficiently without any hate or fights.

matter or fact, after I moved out to my phat bachelor pad apartment, she would call me in the middle of the night for booty calls.

However, this was her favorite line..."Remember Stek, this is about sex, not love"

and..

"you have to leave before the sun comes up"

LOL

I don't buy it. Epstein's been dead nearly 2 years. Why would she still be mad about it?

Melinda: "Bill, I don't like that Epstein guy. He gives me the heebie-jeebies. I don't think you should meet with him any more."
Bill: "No problem, he's dead!"
[two years later]
Melinda: "I want a divorce because of that Epstein guy!"

Somedudette and I are really good friends with my ex from highschool/college. She and I worked through a lot of pain we caused each other (never maliciously), and still had a deep, good friendship out of it. Somedudette and I don't have a whole lot of close friends to begin with and it seems silly to toss out a perfectly good friendship just because we dated for 2+ years.

/Yes, in th beginning, I kept it up because I thought I had a shot of rekindling something
//And aside from an impromptu make out session after watching Warhorse, nothing more came about from it.
///I'd rather keep good exs as friends if that's an option, at least I know we have shiat in common

I don't get it either, but I'm sure it's pretty common. Everyone and their mother gripes at least once annually about various humanitarian concerns with the Saudis, yet that doesn't stop anyone from openly pitching to them for investment or charitable donations, especially since the Saudis themselves make it clear that they (a) desperately want to diversify and (b) they are always looking to for PR victories to help their image.

Nonsense.  No one hangs with Epstein for anything other than his business acumen.

Also, Gates also had that firm agreement that said he had one week a year to shack up with his former girlfriend to play "putt-put" and shiats and giggles. Totes harmless, yet codified.

None of this is out of any ordinary world, or orbit of an ordinary world.
