Based on the video provided just above, the track layout seems nearly identical to the roller coaster assembled at the local county fair each year, and the track posts seem to be equally as permanent.

Does that matter?   There's coasters that are three or four times as tall or fast as that one that have zero fatalities while operating in parks with millions of visitors a year.

Whether she bought a ticket or made her choice, or whatever heatless dismissal of human life you want to make, designers and operators still have a responsibility to make those rides safe.  People don't buy tickets to them so they can be put in danger, they buy tickets so they can FEEL like they're in danger.

By that logic, you can be an asshole and dismiss mist deaths that way.  Car crash?  She knew the risks.  Plane crash, they knew the risk.  It's a shiatty thing to say in response to a human life being lost in an environment where it should not have been lost.  Maybe you're just a shiatty human being.

Meanwhile, to figure out what's the cause of the death can prevent another one.  But I do t suppose you care about that.
