Everyone's Calling The Bus Scene In "Sex Education" The Best TV Moment, And Here's Why

"The most powerful moment I’ve seen on TV for a long time. Actually wept."

🚨Obviously MASSIVE spoilers for Season 2 ahead!🚨

After a year between seasons, Sex Education finally returned this week and TBH, it was a perfect season of TV.

And while I loved every single character arc in Season 2, I can't stop thinking about Aimee's storyline, in particular the bus scene.

Sex Education and its “complex female characters” are a goddamn gift to TV #SexEducation

During Season 2, Aimee's storyline focuses on the aftermath of her getting sexually assaulted by a man on the bus.

After this, we watch Aimee struggle with no longer being able to take the bus, how her relationship with her boyfriend has changed, and how she keeps envisioning her attacker.

Eventually, the storyline culminates in two heartbreaking moments in Season 2, Episode 7.

First, when Aimee finally tells her friends what she's been dealing with, and she learns that they've all been in similar situations.

And second, after hearing Aimee's story, all of her friends meet her at the bus stop and help her overcome her fear.

Like me, the rest of the internet can't stop praising Aimee's storyline and the bus scene in particular. Here are some of the best reactions:

Sex Education really be showing how trauma doesn't sink in quickly but when it does, it will make you fear things that you could do or places you go to before (e.g Aimee refusing to take the bus)
