We’re near the end of the 2018 NFL playoffs. Four teams are left vying for the championship title. The conference championships games this weekend will decide which two go on to Super Bowl 53 on Feb. 3.
When are the NFL playoffs?
The final two match ups in the NFL playoffs will be broadcast nationally in the US on Sunday, Jan. 20, on TV networks CBS and Fox.
Which NFL teams are still in the playoffs?
In the NFC title game, the Los Angeles Rams head to New Orleans to face off against the Saints at 3:05pm EST on Fox. And in the AFC, the Kansas City Chiefs host the New England Patriots at 6:40pm on CBS.
There a few ways to watch NFL games live online:
US mobile streaming
Both games will be available to stream free through the NFL and Yahoo Sports apps. Those streams are only available on smartphones and tablets, so you won’t be able to screencast the games from these apps to a TV.
US cable-network streaming
If you have cable or another pay-TV subscription but won’t be near your set-top box on Sunday, you can watch the Rams play the Saints on the Fox Sports Go app when you sign in with your TV provider’s credentials. The Patriots versus Chiefs games will stream on CBS All Access, which costs $6 per month and offers one-week long free trials to new subscribers.
US streaming TV
Many streaming-TV services carry the CBS and Fox channels in many markets as well, including:
- DirecTV Now
- fuboTV
- Hulu with Live TV
- PlayStation Vue
- Sling TV (excludes CBS)
- YouTube TV
Many of those platforms offer free trials to new customers. Some, like PlayStation Vue, are running discounts around the playoffs and Super Bowl.
Streaming outside the US
Outside the US, the international version of the subscription service NFL Game Pass is the best bet. It will stream the playoff games live, unlike in the US, where it only airs replays. The international version is expensive, at around $200 for the season. But Game Pass also offers free trials that should get fans through Sunday’s playoff games.
