Who would have won: Rich Franklin or Ryan Bader?

I will go ahead and ask if the fight were at LHW/Franklinweight who would have won?

Option 1: Franklin

Bader via being a massive LHW and belonging at HW.
 
Ryan Bader would have won. Franklin had problems with big LHWs, see the Forrest Griffin fight only Bader is a better wrestler, has more KO power and has better striking than Forrest.
 
Thats a tough ask for Rich who was a small LHW, Bader is fucking huge compared to him.

It'd have to be at 205. Baders huge at LHW and I doubt he makes Franklinweight.

That being said, I think Bader takes it.
 
Todays evolved Bader would " Forrest " him en route to a decision.
 
I think we were originally supposed to see them fight back at UFC 126 and Forrest was supposed to fight Jon. They switched it around cause Forrest said he didn't want to fight Jon IIRC.
 
I'm assuming you mean Bader around 2011 when Franklin was actually fighting. Probably Bader by being gigantic and Rich being a small LHW but I wouldn't count Franklin out back then. Bader has some sloppy moments and he did get rekt by fucking Tito.

A modern Bader is much more refined and would of course win dominantly.

More of an on-going joke as Franklinweight was as close to 205 lbs he would weigh in at.

I would still pick Ryan Bader, he beat Lil Nog who IMO is a better fighter than Franklin in the 2009-2011 era and beat Rampage early in 2012.
 
Bader possibly. Rich had decent striking, but his chin was garbage and Bader would threaten with takedowns.
