Every time I think about this fight, I just picture Gaethje landing a bomb and decapitating Tony.
I can't get this image out of my head.

I know how special Tony is, but his really shaky boxing defense and chin up in the air + Gaethje's power and aggression just seem like the writing's already on the wall.

Tony's "hittability" (pause) finally catching up to him is something I'm damn near completely convinced of at this point.

Convince me otherwise please

According to tony stans his chin will never go. So lets see

I stopped betting against Ferguson awhile ago

I dont really mind who wins this fight since I know both would be a good fight for Khabib. Style wise I think Gaethje should give him more trouble probably since he was an all american? If he was able to keep it standing against Habibi there is no doubt who I see winning that fight, Gaethje.

Tony is crazy though and deserves the Habibi match.

A tough fight for both and it should be really entertaining. I think Tony might just shade it though.

A fully prepared Gaethje would have had me at a 50/50 split. If Tony was ever going to have to face him, I think these are the best conditions he could have asked for.

60/40 Tony.

I'm picking gaethje. It sucks that fergs getting screwed over like this.

It would be different if he was getting big money and exposure fighting Conor

Yes, great chance that he might be. Fighting Justin Gaethje...even if Tony wins, the chances are very high that this is going to be the type of fight where both guys are going to lose a huge part of their souls, health and life years. Whatever way it ends, I have a very bad feeling that this might be the last time we see Tony in his prime before we see him decline badly. I'm praying that doesn't happen.

Tony is gonna get dropped, can gaejthe finish him once he drops him, idk

That's definitely a real possibility. But I also see Gaethje gassing halfway through the 2nd round and getting fucked up, eventually being TKO'd or submitted.

The longer the fight goes on the more it favors Tony. But the 1st and 2nd rounds are especially dangerous for him, wouldn't be surprised if he got caught.

Gaethje is such a dangerous matchup for Tony.

Which is the reason we should commend Tony for taking this fight when he didnt have to.

If he beats Gaethje, jesus christ does that look great for him.

It means he is without a doubt the only person who should be fight Khabib.

Tony and Gaethje is going to be a war though, make no mistake about it.

Gaethje better knock Tony out in the first otherwise he will get mauled

I don't blame you.
But this matchup is incredibly dangerous for him.

Style-wise Gaethje has a shot, but you gotta keep in mind what short notice he's taking it on. Tony does get caught a lot, and Gaethje isn't a guy you wanna get caught by.

But I think the "puncher's chance" fighter is always at a disadvantage. And when said fighter has a shorter window to land that shot due to lack of preparation time, the chances of them losing goes up even more.

I think people are too worried about this result. Even if Justin does defy the odds and win, Tony's good enough that him and Khabib will fight.

tony is a mostly a volume striker
every 4 seconds he will hit his opponent
the marching forward style demand high risk, so yes u will see tony getting shots
i think that even though the style makes him more hittable thats the exact fighter u want to see against jg
because the only way to win against a maniac like jg is to put damage on damage and to take it to the last rounds

Similar to how I see mcgregor v Tony

Justin has 2, maybe 3 rounds to get him out of there

Tony gets hurt/dropped, but so far his recovery has been exceptionally good. Probably due to his insane fitness

After 2-3 rounds, I think Justin is fucked. Even with a full camp he would be up against it, but with little time to prepare? He isn't going 5 with Tony

Tony rightly should be the favourite, but I have a feeling the upset will happen

Tony v khabib is cursed

Imagine Justin v Conor for interim title in August and the winner v Khabib in December?

I should promote
