This film ignores Terminator 1-4, Terminator Genisys, Terminator Dark Fate, Terminator Tomorrow Never Dies, Terminator Reloaded, Terminator Strikes Back, and Terminator Half Steppin' Back to the Future
The film takes place before Sarah Connor was born.
We are now introduced to Sarah's parents in this franchise, William (Bill) & Beth Connor.
Plot:
Beth Connor has a miscarriage at the beginning of the film. Saddened by grief, Bill & Beth Connor decide to adopt a child.
Skynet being the most creative and most intelligent AI of the future decides to send a child to the past to kill the Connors, preventing Sarah from being born.
The Connors adopt the cybernetic child and it plots various schemes to kill the Connors while they are alone.
In this film the hero of the story is the neighbor next door, whom is a vet Marine that fought in World War II.
He saves the Connors throughout the film in various dangerous circumstances.
Use your imagination.
At the end of the film, the Connors and the neighbor destroy the child and bring back peace to the neighborhood.
In the typical nature of a Hollywood happy ending, we see the Connors give birth to Sarah and then the credits roll.
Rated PG-13 for off camera violence, mildly foul language, and loud noises
Release Date: July 2039
Verdict:
Is it supposed to suck?
Of course! We already know Hollywood has ran out of ideas, and this is one last effort to keep the Terminator franchise going.
Don't be surprised when the next Terminator you see in the franchise is a child.
