I was just thinking about this but I'd actually like Colby to win this fight simply because I want Masvidal to get hold of him.

And how much better would it be if Masvidal not only managed to get Colby in the Octagon but if he took his title from him too it would be pretty damn cool for Masvidal and it's not like the dude doesn't deserve a title shot either.

I'm not sure if you guys have heard but Masvidal was saying if you thought what he did to Ben was unnecessary wait until you see what he does to Colby as that'll be more than necessary.

Normally I'd want Usman to win however it would be so much better for Colby to get the win, don't get me wrong Colby can back it up in the cage and with his shtick aside he's a great fighter however it would be a good fight either way and would set this up perfectly.

What do you guys think? :)

Edit: Found the video where he talks about this (he says uncalled for not necessary but same thing), I've time stamped it anyway.

It'd be good for both their bank accounts and then they could go back to being mates afterwards

Masvidal, the guy who gets a title shot of Robbie Lawler’s seconds and a skinny fat lightweight who loses 1/2 his fights, is gonna beat a D1 killer? I’m sure he will

If Colby is to beat Usman he has to do 2 things. Keep his back off the cage, & keep his ass off the ground. Easier said than done, but sometimes the best way to beat pressure is with pressure.

I'm very much looking forward to the fight, definitely want Colby to win so we get him vs Masvidal.

I doubt it, they'd fallen out a bit back over money owed to the coach Masvidal introduced him to and Mas felt bad about it since, can't see them going for a beer and a game of pool afterwards lol

None of us know who's going to win that fight, Colby also beat Lawler so he's hardly his seconds.

100%, he's got a big task on his hands with Usman but it should be a great fight either way :)

Jorge vs Colby is the only fight with Colby worth watching.

Masvidal would beat Covington easily...

Too bad Covington won’t get past Usman.

If Colby "beats" Usman @NorrisB (NOT HAPPENING). I need to regain half of my vcash lost to greg hardy. Betting all on Usman on this fight.

That's what it is ain't it, this is what I mean if he happens to do so I'm not going to be too disappointed because it'll set up this Masvidal opportunity perfectly.

He does my head in but he can back it up in the cage.

No doubt, but i prefer the drama turn on him.

Usman had more drama with Askren.

Jorge has momentum to make this a big dramatic affair.

After the BMF fiasco,
this would get some attention,
and not because of Colby.

Personally,
Usman / Colby is an undercard fight that is over hyped. I doubt Woodley or Lawler would perform the same in rematches.

Honestly I wouldn't be surprised if he was cut at some point as I'm not sure the hassle he brings is worth the money, I honestly couldn't be arsed with him.

jorge knows his only path to a title shot is usman winning. jorge wont fight colby i dont care how they acted towards each other.

He will, watch the video above for a few minutes, he'll get hold of him somewhere and he ain't gonna let it go.

Obviously doing it in the cage too he's getting paid for it.
