Im just a caveman, your bright, loud and fast world frightens and confuses me. So this will be simple and link free.

Curious about any conflicting issues within each party that dont make a lot of sense. I realize platforms are fluid too and that championed values change over time.

However heres what inspired my curiousity and made me a little charade suspicious.

Democrat (leftwing) - anti-gun, pro-abortion.

Republican (rightwing) - pro-gun, pro-life.

How does this make sense?

Just given the positions you've listed, the democracts appear to distrust people, while the republicans' stances would imply a certain optimism about the potential innate good of people.
Really though, their respective positions are only taken because they each think enough active voters will care about them.

Don't expect a whole bunch of ethical consistency from either group.

How are the Republicans fanatically pro life yet don't want to fund education and healthcare for kids?

Your example is almost as silly as really believing there are 2 parties.

Republicans are pro life in the same way the Catholic Church is pro children.

My favorite is......

Democrat - solution to everything? Government. Fuck the police and military.

Republican - government can't do anything right, but worship police and military.

Let me help you out. It's all one party and we are not invited to it. Each side picks opposite arguments to present to the public specifically to keep the country divided. They generally campaign(publicly argue) about the most contentious issues that way they can get the biggest response from the masses.
Then when the masses "vote" one way or the other the electoral college pushes the candidate that was going to win anyways. If or when an unexpected candidate wins(Trump) that side contains the damages for four years and quietly pushes the other side to win for four years.

The truth is it's all about money. Whoever can generate the most money and spread it around to the right people wins. Noone gives a shit about the public unless it is profitable.

Anything you've ever wanted can be achieved as long as you can make it profitable and are willing to share it with the powers that be.

Another good example is the GOP being anti socialism and social welfare, but pro corporate welfare (socialism).
The GOP is also "fiscally conservative" but haven't balanced a budget in 50 years and only increased the national debt bigly over and over.

They're both pro-war though, somehow they're able to put their differences asides to commit mass murder.

1000 pts for Phil Hartman reference.

Clean up those conspiratorial thoughts folks. That's terrorism.

Dem side: Pro union and organized labor while also making the argument that goods would cost too much if we removed illegal labor and their willingness to work for less than minimum wage

Rep side: Love the military, support me any time I’m in uniform. Also paranoid about the government and three letter agencies coming to put them in camps.

It's not about the breeding numbers. They're pro-life as a form of punishment for people having sex. That's why they don't support the healthcare system or welfare.

The logic, twisted as it is, goes like this - You shouldn't be having sex. We want you to suffer a consequence for that choice. Therefore, you cannot get an abortion, you must see your sexual choices all the way through the birth itself. And because the birth is supposed to be part of your punishment, we will not help pay for the child because that would reduce the amount of punishment you're experiencing. You need to suffer financially for the poor decision to engage in unprotected sex.

That's it in a nutshell. It's the politics of spite.

I welcome all CTs, so welcome, brother.
Did you see The Family doc I posted? There is a segment of that made me think about the breeding angle.

I've seen the trailers but I haven't watched it. Is it worth the watch?

It's evangelical Christianity:
Cause despair
Exploit despair

Their financial model depends on it.
