He's laid out what he values as being #1

So in essence with this guideline it does nullify anything else - they are meaningless to him - his objective is clear

he does need to fight ferguson to cement his legacy as the GOAT at 155.

GSP is iffy, because if khabib wins, people will say GSP was past his prime. If he wants to impress me, he can fight Usman.
 
Just finish some fights and you’re already better than GSP. I think go up a weight class and do a few fights would help Khab

Well he wouldnt be in that position if he wasnt already 27-0 and the world champion. So no its because of what hes done, that hes in the position to be number 1 with those 3 wins. If he just had those wins and nothing else he wouldnt be close to p4p number 1
 
I didn't watch the video, but I can appreciate he's probably trying to keep a mindset that keeps him hungry and staves off complacency.
