Well am I the only one that thinks a grade school teacher should stick to teaching math reading etc? This is a bit much. Here is a link to the video this grade school teacher made. It is in a drop box file so I don't know if I can embed.

A male teacher came out as non-binary transgender in a pre-recorded video for elementary students last month and asked them to start calling him by the suffix “Mx.,” according to a national legal group.

The teacher at Allis Elementary School in Madison, Wis., was previously known as Mark “Vince” Busenbark but in the video to students announces he is neither a boy or a girl but “everything in between.” Busenbark asks the students to use pronouns such as “them” and their” instead of “him” or “her.”

The video was shown to students in kindergarten through fifth grade May 16, according to Liberty Counsel, a legal group that specializes in religious freedom.

“You know me as Mr. Busenbark or Mr. B,” Busenbark says in the seven-minute video. “You've known me as the person in the science room, as the person with the plants and the animals, as the person who builds and helps you build. Most of what you know is true. Most of what you know won't change. But there is one truth that I've hidden from you -- until about a month ago from my fellow teachers and friends from family.

“I am transgender,” Busenbark says. “Do you know what that means? Maybe you don't. Maybe you've only heard those words through the filter of those who hate and fear.”

Busenbark references a book, They Call Me Mix, about a girl who grows up to transition to non-binary.

So he felt the need to inform his students that he doesn't know to which gender he belongs?
That's exactly what children of that age don't need to know.
He should've kept his delusions to himself.

All I know is that if a bunch of little snot nosed couldn't get my preffered pronouns and suffixes, I would smack them in the face.

They are nazis in the making

I don’t understand using “them” as a singular pronoun because it sounds like you are referring to two or more people. Non-binary people are not multiple people, it’s just one person who does not think they belong to only one gender. I think it’s confusing from a grammatical perspective.

But if this person wants to be called Mx. Steele or whatever, that’s fine. I think it’d make a lot more sense to start the next year fresh with a new name instead of changing it and “coming out” during the year. I think that’s an odd approach. When teachers got married they usually just wait until the next school year to go by their new name.

Maybe you've only heard those words through the filter of those who hate and fear.

What an unnecessary comment, it's more likely they'd have heard how "brave and beautiful" it is, if anything.

Yawn. He/she sounds like an attention seeker to me with that pompous insistence to butcher the English language to feed his own ego.

Elementary teacher comes out as mentally ill to k-5 students. Fucking weirdo should lose their job.

At the very least, I'd remove my child from that classroom immediately.

Maybe he's like one those Spider-man symbiotes.

Even gays have to make up terms because they're embarrassed by being gay.

Mx. Busenbark sounds like a German tank model?

"There's a truth I've been keeping secret from you, from my fellow teachers, from my friends, from my family. I am transgender."

Bruh, they been knew

Using "they" to refer to a single person doesn't sound like a good way to teach English to 6 year olds...

All elementary teachers should bring up and discuss their sexuality, because that's what children want to hear about.
"I was dicking this bitch down last night. That's "engaging in sexual intercourse with", which means I put my rock hard penis in her moist, snug vagina, and thrust until I blasted my load, which means "ejaculated from my penis". But I practiced safe sex and blew it on her face and gave her fifty bucks. Always pay your hooker."
