It's not like I said Volk needs to fight again. Seesh. It makes sense for Frankie and the UFC cause Frankie did them solid talking that Ortega fight and Frankie missed out on his shot. Besides Volk will be recovering from fighting another champ and will be fattening up at his best mates wedding. Should Aldo win he could wait, he already got it, twice.

Max needs to heal up right now, and would likely line up just fine with Volk (should Volk beat Aldo). I think he'd deserve it more than Edgar as beating Jose is still a major win in my opinion.

In mine too man, no idea where your getting that I don't. Aldo is pretty much Jr champ at FW in my book. I say Frankie in the summer and Volk in the winter (should he win of course).

Frankie Edgar is my favourite fighter of all time, but I do think he needs another good win to earn a title shot. It's too bad he had to pull out of the Korean Zombie fight.
It should be Volkanovski if he beats Aldo, no ifs ands or buts.
If Aldo wins that fight, then I say you make a really interesting/fun fight for him to fulfill his contract with (possibly Pettis at 155).
So basically while Max heals up and Aldo and Volkanovski duke it out, Frankie should fight another top contender with a guaranteed title shot pending a victory.

Yeah that's the other thing. You don't want to reward Frankie for dropping out of the Zombie bout with a title shot. I'd rather give it to his replacement Yair.
Lmao I wouldn't go that far. Frankie absolutely murked Yair. Edgar's ahead of him, no question.

Still Yair took Frankie's spot and won in one of the best fights of the year, that's worth something. I'm more looking at Volkanovski though.
