Would this means the end of an era? I'm a grappling fan and a grappler myself but I cannot deny that I like to watch this type of high-level striking. What's amazing is that this type of striking is not really optimal for MMA but this guys are just so good that the make it work and it really looks pretty cool.
Same as Machida and Wonderboy. Elusive striking is pretty cool, it works for them because they been doing it since kids plus both are very skilled but I think this era is pretty much dead as well.
Same argument can be made about Mayweather in boxing. Do you see another Mayweather raising anytime soon? I highly doubt it.
