Media Ngannou VS Velasquez breakdown

Well done and I agree with your analysis.

I see him wince in pain then start to collapse. Was the wince from the punch or his knee?

best summary
it was this right uppercut that closed the show

His right leg clearly buckles before his left leg touches the floor.

Good analysis. Ngannou with the MArk Hunt-esque sneaky uppercut. Didn't notice that the 1st 2 times I watched it.

My breakdown:
Cain is only "back" for a SET UP. This helps the promotion - who never liked Stipe being a champion - and his friend Cormier - who will avoid a loss in a rematch.

Cain was always injured, this is not an excuse. He helped the SET UP.

Damn that uppercut came in such a tight angle. Francis almost punching sideways to get it in there.

What makes you so sure that Stipe will win a rematch..?

Good vid. I was annoyed they were calling it a knockout since live it looked like Cain just slipped and blew his knee out but this makes a good case for the uppercut.

Yeah I don't know that his head popping up wasn't more of a result from Ng's left hand slipping off Cains head making Cains head pop up.

Yeah. I dunno. This is the best angle I've seen, and is slowed down enough that it's clear, to me anyway, that Cain doesn't go "limp" when he gets hit by the uppercut. He goes "limp" when he tries to plant his foot and his knee buckles and he reacts by just letting his whole body relax and go "limp" to take pressure off of the knee... which is exactly what you do when your knee buckles.

Anyone that’s ever had a bad knee sprain or acl injury will tell you the pain is so bad it’s like a system shock and will make you go limp.
Lol at people think Cain got ko’d from that “uppercut”. Cain was in no shape to fight anyhow.

I am wondering, from your point of view, is the first shot actually lands and deal damage?
