Have you ever passed a kidney stone? I suffer from chronic kidney stones and I’ve passed seven since 2010. The passage of a stone through the urethra in the penis is not the painful part. The painful part is its passage through the ureter connecting the kidney to the bladder. Once the stone has made it to bladder you’re basically in the clear. When you pee the stone out you either feel nothing or a just a slight tingling in your penis.

I've passed two in my early 20's and it was terrible. I still have the larger one I passed as a trophy. My best friend would pass one almost every month, he had a serious issue with them.
