Active fighters who dominate opponents are attacked and demonized when they reveal injuries that stopped them from performance at their best.

In comparison, the Diaz brothers have a million and one excuses for losing fights, for ducking fights and etc. Their brand is essentially weed, jumping people on the streets, and making excuses when it is time to fight in a sanctioned sport.

Mostly what they have are excuses, and consensus MMA community doesn't call them out on it.

Cuz they have extremely low IQ.

And the majority of the MMA fans also have low IQ.

They want to believe that there are other kinds of "geniuses" and look at him as inspiration.

Because they are special

i like both a lot. my mom probably wouldnt let me play with them tho ( bad reputation )

They don't really, everyone tends to call them out for it

I'm a huge Diaz Bros fan. Yeah they make the most ridiculous excuses but no one takes those serious. Laugh about it, don't get your panties wet because of it

Are you saying that you don't actually believe that GSP poisoned Nick?

I stopped giving them a pass. Use to be a huge fan. They bore me now. Even laughed when GSP clowned Diaz on jre today.

Because they are from the street and smoke a lot of weed, while also being professional fighters.

Some of the coolest dudes in the sport.

My favorite Diaz fan excuse is the "They may have lost a decision but if it was a street fight to the death Diaz would have won."

Their unwillingness to accept defeat is part of their charm.

That’s why it means something when Nick says Diego Sanchez is the only guy who beat him.

Because Diaz fans are obviously hooked on their every word and only care about what they say outside of the ring.

I have to admit though, it's frustrating af that neither one of them are fighting.

Well they say stupid things sure, but they're constantly criticized for it as well.
