UFC was probably planning to have Colby come into the Octagon to talk shit to Leon. Leon no-sold him so well, they had to improvise.

I feel he understands that Colby is a bad matchup for him, I feel Colby will drain Leons gas tank fast....and the only way Leon wins is via a TKO/KO (which is possible).

Dana countered this by mentioning how long Leon sat out for, and not one of those bum ass useless reporters could point out that that was after a 9-fight win streak (excluding Belal), for his first shot as opposed to already losing 2 title shots in his last 4 fucking fights like Colby

I think Leon wants to avoid signing a contract until Chandler fights Mcgregor, if Mcgregor wins it’s totally probable the ufc will grant him a title shot , Leon wants some of that Mcgregor money

Colby doesn't deserve a shot again. Neither does Mas with a win. Am I the only one that thinks Leon won't have any trouble neutralizing Colby's wrestling and just snipe him with leg kicks and single stinging punches for 5 rounds?

It’s crazy that Covington has been doing his little scripted promos for like over 5 years as well as doing scripted commercials and ads yet his lines are still lame and he’s still tripping over all his words in his delivery.

I 100% agree. If Usman has that difficult of a time getting and keeping Edwards down, I very much doubt Covington can do it.

Leon will hold his ground and rightly so.
Mas is the fight to make.

I don't think Colby is that bad of a match up. He isn't exactly Khabib in the takedown department and while his clinch game is good, it's not as good as Usman's and Leon was able to shrug that off. Colby's frantic striking and insane cardio may be good enough to overwhelm Edwards, but it also may leave Covington open for hard counters. And I'd bet Edwards won't be scared by Colby's punching power.

It's a cool fight, don't get me wrong. I don't like rank squatting at all and I wouldn't give the TS to Colby if I was a pink goof, but still it's a cool fight.
