Crazy how time flies, but yes it's been seven years since Conor has beaten anyone in the UFC other than UFC company man Cowboy Cerrone, and a severely washed up Cerrone at that.

Now there is talks of him getting a title shot at WW if he beats a non ranked WW, 2-3 LW, company man Micheal Chandler.

I really don't understand how people think he'll beat Chandler.

Chandler gave Dustin, Charles, and Gaethje absolute hell. Conor hasn't been this vicious counter puncher that can finish a fight since 2016.

Seeing the Chad vs Conor comparisons are cringe inducing, that fight was nearly a decade ago. My only hope is after Conor loses, he comes back again to entertain us. Hopefully against lower-level competition. Dober vs Conor would be fireworks, Bobby green vs Conor is also sick.

I don’t know why they go through the charade of having him fight Chandler before granting him a title shot , why risk the payday , does a win somehow justify the title shot ? To who ?

hell Barboza, Micheal Johnson, and Iaquinta and pretty much all of Khabib's UFC opponents accomplished a lot more at LW than 1-3 Conor.
