The fights are way too close to call victories, and it seems he doesn't do any good head strikes in them. Like here in the Cannonier fight, judges give him 50-45 which is just blatant boxing tier nonsense.

Jared landed less than 5 headshots all fight. Izzy just styled on him whilst Jared stood them and threw some body shots in the clinch

He's the champ. He has no obligation to do anything more than keeping what he has. It should be up to the challenger to go for it and yet they don't. For as boring as Izzy fights can be, it's not like his opponents offered any more flash.

2 judges had it correct 49-46
There's no shot in the world that was close to a Cannonier win
 
I had rob edging Izzy by a round
I had Jared Winning 3,4,5 barely, could go either way.
I had yoel winning.
Every one of those fights were absolutely terrible, and the challengers weren't much better than Israel, but let's not act like there isn't an influence on these decisions.

Volk Max fight was a blowout. This was a wet sausage where otherwise would've knocked down a prospect from being a contender. Cannonier landed the more powerful head strikes and you must be, frankly, insane to call this a blowout.

he plainly did not do anything of the sort. he landed like 5 head strikes total lmao

the irony of claiming a guy who didn’t land anything landed the harder shots in a fight where he ate a jab at will for 5 straight rounds is hilarious when followed up with “you must be insane to call this a blowout”

he wiped him out on stats and scores. it legitimately wasn’t even close. this was a blowout.
