this is a joke in terms of a comparison, i don't want to bash TS too harshly but they should definitely do some research in the various aspects of combat sport that make fights legendary. Half an hour of research could get you up to speed on why this is not the biggest fight since the rumble in the jungle and that this is merely the most exciting HW matchup that has taken place in the UFC since Cormier vs Miocic 1 which I think might be your bar for significant HW bouts in your lifetime judging by your thread. Hell even Fury vs Wilder 2 outweighs Ngannou vs Gane at this point, it would take an Ngannou win this weekend before we even begin to discuss any comparisons between him and any bout Ali was apart of in his prime, or any bout after his time in the wilderness. Its not your fault TS, you just have some work to do to get a better understanding of the rich history of combat sports. I will say both Ngannou and Gane are tremendous athletes and this is an important bout for the UFC, their hope is that Gane wins though because Ngannou will put them in an awkward position if he wins and decides to sit out for the rest of his career in the hopes that the UFC caves into a cross promotional boxing match for him.
