I'm not going to be a project manager myself, but there's a chance that I will inherit a team full of them soon because their boss is leaving.

It's not really my area of expertise, but I feel like I should educate myself enough to properly supervise these people and make sure they're doing a good job.

Anyone know a good book that's easily digestible that can teach me what I need to know?

You fill in the room with uppercuts.

You’re welcome.

See if edx or Shaw academy has any courses available. Or, get your PMP. It's an easy designation to achieve that all white collars should get

project management for dummies probably exists. They got one of those books for everything.

Pull down your pants and show them your penis.
establish eye contact to show dominance.

In my experience, it involves doing a shitload of nothing all day. I have never seen a project management office do shit. But that’s just my experience, and the experience of many other people in know, in IT.

Hey that's not fair, PM's do plenty... just not anything that's actually useful.
I’m sure they do a lot in other areas. But I have never seen them do shit in IT. Ever. And I’ve been working in IT for over 15 years.
