Makhechev is the biggest favorite on the card other then nunes and I don't understand why .

He's a decision machine who's beaten absolutely nobody , and he has been KOd before (5 years ago) and has been extremely inactive .

Meanwhile Dober has lost 9 times before ....but is 6-1 in his last 7 with some big knockout wins !

When odds are this far apart it seems tailormade upset in the making ....or am I crazy ? I see Dober possibly sleeping him .

I'm not praising Dober , but I don't see makhechev as this world beater everyone else sees him as ....i see him as a good wrestler who can't finish a fight and has a questionable chin . ...
 
Khabib was out for a couple of years before be went on to become champion. Doubt the layoff will affect Islam much. It's not like he was sitting around watching TV. He was actively training for fights that didn't materialize.
 
He's a 'decision machine' because he fights so safely, especially after getting KO'd. He is going to put the fight where he has a huge advantage, just like Khabib. Like Khabib, he also is very well rounded, intelligent and does not get credit for just how well rounded he is - they all talked about "Khabib's weak striking" when it was never the case, he actually was a very good striker and trained Sambo striking his whole life. He simply is not flashy and technical in the orthodox sense of the word, but incredibly effective.
 
Dober by KO was about +400 yesterday. Islam by Sub was +440. Fight ends inside the distance was + money. Islam is a very good grappler & even though he hasnt submitted many ppl in the ufc, Dober has been submitted by the only 2 good grapplers he has fought.
