Honestly, I'd rather Usman pulls out of this one.
I'm really tired of Journeyman Masvidal and his incredible luck on riding a wave of rep he doesn't deserve.

- Got a win off Till who was coming off his first loss & was done in that division

- Sucker punch Edwards (and got away with it), then casuals blew it up. Then he proceeded to do everything in his power to successfully duck Edwards.

- Got a fluky, but spectacular win vs Old Man Askren. Blow out-proportion

- Was given a ridiculous, special toy belt for beating Nate "Journeyboy" Diaz and having it blown up like it was some kind of UFC accomplishment

- Now after hiding behind the money excuse to avoid getting embarrassed by Usman, he gets lucky with a 6 days notice fight that puts him in a win-win situation. He loses, he and casuals blame 6 days notice. He wins, he and casuals brags about 6 days notice.

Also, we have seen how short notice fights can hurt the fighter that was preparing for a different fighter.
Usman has been training for Burns for the last month and now he has to find a way to switch that off and retrain in 6 days.
Masvidal was only ever ready for Usman, so he actually has the advantage in preparation.

Hope the fight doesn't happen and both fighters are given the same time to prepare. Then Usman can destroy the journeyman and completely derail the hypetrain properly.

Anyhow, will make a great fight.

lol u mad TS? You sound butthurt.

I dislike Masvidal but first of all you taking the UFCs side on monetary issues and fighter compensation makes you look like an absolute fool and what's even worse is that you're not a fight fan. How the fuck can you not be hyped for Masvidal vs Usman? Fuck all the negotiation bullshit. Fuck the opinion of everyone. Just enjoy good fights man wtf

Be glad about the fact we got a superb main event instead of blogposting your bitchfits here.

Just because you think he is, doesn't make Masvidal a hypetrain. He won fighter of the years for 2019 correct? How many Hypetrains do you remember winning fighter of the year? I can't think of any, ever. Jorge wins, then beats Colby's ass and retires laughing at all the Sherdoggers, who will still be bringing up "luck" and how he's a gatekeeper and a hypetrain. The hype is real, and we will see him become the champ in a week. And he'll be the 1st gatekeeper champ, who was also just fighter of the year. Pretty good for a bum with double digit losses eh?

Up until this fight was announced Jorge was a chicken shit who was running from Usman because he knew he would lose. So there was zero chance he would ever actually fight him. Now they're going to fight so I guess he wasn't a chicken shit?

Where did I say I was taking UFC's side when it comes to money? You sound like an absolute idiot tbh

However, I'd like to see official numbers of how much they offered him before and how much he is taking now. Would bet it's not a gigantic difference.

"i DisLikE mAsviDaL" Lol, shut up.

Sorry I can't provide those numbers and nobody here can which is one of the many reasons why your thread is dumb. Also you didn't even answer to anything In my post. You're just blogposting.

You're not a fight fan. You just bitch about a great main event. Great job.

And yeah, ask any Masvidal fan here I've been shitting on the guy since I joined.

3 wins against midrank fighters, makes you fighter of the year? You're just proving my point about the hypetrain LOL

And duh, that's already been pointed out that he's only taking the fight now because he can make all the excuses for losing.
He has to fight him at some point, so now was literally the most perfect scenario for a "chicken shit"

Usman will destroy Mas, so don't worry.

Then you're not a fan of fights.

All your reasons are mostly business and fighter negotiations.

The champ should be ready for all challengers. Stay salty bitch.
