Updated records: Trizano (9-1 MMA, 3-1 UFC), Klein (17-3 MMA, 1-1 UFC)
Key stat: Ludovit Klein landed four takedowns in the fight, but that wasn’t enough to warrant even a round from one of the three judges.

Trizano on the fight's key moment

“I felt great. I’m always going to be critical of myself. I could do more. I almost had him and could have finished him. … I had him in the standup. I was frustrating him and my jab was there all day. I heard my coaches yelling at me to let it go. I’ve got to go back to the drawing board and work on it. If I put some bigger combinations together, I could have put him away. We don’t get paid by the minute, so I’d rather get in and out quick. He started trying to take me down, but I have a great ground game. I’m legit everywhere.”

“It’s been one hell of a ride: two knee surgeries, bad ankle injury and COVID for everybody. It’s just been one obstacle after the other. Everybody’s got obstacles in life. It’s about overcoming them. Every time you get knocked down, you’ve got to get right back up. That’s what I’ve been doing. It paid off. I’ve been working my butt off since the last time I fought.”

Trizano on what he wants next

“It’s just a learning experience for me. I want to fight tough guys. He was on a huge win streak and definitely a huge prospect—that’s what I want. I want to be the underdog. It motivates me and makes me more hungry. It makes me want to prove a point, that I’m not somebody your walk around.”
