Jadon Sancho told to STAY at Borussia Dortmund for two more years and ignore Chelsea and Manchester United chase by team-mate Marco Reus

  • Jadon Sancho has been linked with a move to Chelsea or Manchester United
  • The 20-year-old is one of the hottest young talents in football today
  • Dortmund team-mate Marco Reus believes he should stay at BVB for two years
  • Sancho has 14 goals and 16 assists in the Bundesliga so far this season

Jadon Sancho should stay at Borussia Dortmund for two more years to continue his development, says team-mate Marco Reus.

The English winger is one of the hottest young talents in football today and his recent form has attracted the attention of Premier League giants Chelsea and Manchester United

And while the 20-year-old is in incredible form for Dortmund, having scored 14 goals and registered 16 assists in the Bundesliga this season, Reus believes the best career choice for him right now is to stay where he is.

The German winger told Sport BILD: 'He should stay one more, maybe two years at Dortmund. In my view, there is currently nothing better for him.

'Then he can take the really big step. As an even more complete player who can continue to develop with us as a regular in the team.'

If Sancho were to move back to the Premier League, he would not be the first high-profile player to leave Borussia Dortmund for pastures new and a bigger challenge.

Attacking talents such as Robert Lewandowski, Ousmane Dembele, Mario Gotze and Christian Pulisic have all left the Ruhr-land club in recent seasons to European giants such as Bayern Munich, Barcelona and Chelsea.

Reus, meanwhile, has remained at the club despite these departures, and has amassed over 250 appearances in all competitions for Dortmund since joining from Borussia Monchengladbach in 2012.

This loyalty to Dortmund could be a sign for Sancho to stay at the club and continue his development as a top player.

Reus Added: 'It has always been my dream to play for BVB. Here I have everything to be happy: my home, my family, my club.

'And this feeling has always prevailed - even if another country with a different culture might have been attractive. I always wanted to play for BVB. It was always the club my heart drew me to.

'When I played in Gladbach at the time, it was clear to me: within the Bundesliga, I would only change to Dortmund, otherwise I will go abroad.
