Everton legend Duncan Ferguson has bought a new television for an elderly season ticket holder after he was robbed during self-isolation. 

Ferguson, who is the Toffees' assistant manager after taking charge on an interim basis earlier in the season, is adored by Everton fans.

And he has impressed again after ordering a new TV for a supporter.

'Me grandand [sic] house got robbed last week, who's been a STH [season ticket holder] since he was a kid. Been stuck in the house with no TV,' George Carbery wrote on Twitter. 


'Everton got in contact with him, he received a call off Duncan Ferguson to cheer him up. Ferguson has ordered him a new TV, out of his own money Never change Everton.' 

Former Watford and England forward Luther Blissett replied to Carbery's Tweet praising the gesture.
