The 23-year-old Belgian born defender - the cousin of Manchester United superstar Romelu Lukaku - is set to leave Austria in the coming weeks.

The Parkhead side are also tracking Nice left-back Romain Perraud after a successful loan spell at Paris FC last season, with reports in France claiming he's poised to join central defender Christopher Jullien in Glasgow after Celtic agreed a £7million fee with Toulouse.

Burnley are also seeking reinforcements after the recent release of Stephen Ward, with Mbombo an option.

'There have been enquiries for Boli but no offers so far,' said Barisic. 'But we know there will be concrete offers soon.'
