Manchester City's top brass have reportedly met with Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici in London to discuss the signing of Joao Cancelo.
Pep Guardiola is keen to recruit a player to rival Kyle Walker for the right-back berth and Cancelo, whose electric pace has attracted many admirers, could well fit the bill.
Italian outlet Tuttomercato claim City and Juve have mulled over a £44million deal for Cancelo, which could see Danilo move the other way.

It is claimed that City have tabled a five-year, £4.4m-a-season offer for the 25-year-old, who moved to Turin from Valencia last summer.
With Walker having just turned 29, it is thought Cancelo will become his long-term successor under Guardiola.
It is part of Guardiola's plan to continue on the unprecedented form his side has shown over the last two seasons.

Having won back-to-back titles, the most recent of which was a nail-biter with Liverpool which went down to the final day, the manager is hell-bent on ensuring his side are ready to defend their crown next season.
In another move to plan long term, Guardiola is hopeful of recruiting 23-year-old Rodri from Atletico Madrid this summer.
The holding midfielder is expected to cost a princely £63m for City, but the manager hopes he will step into Fernandinho's boots when the 34-year-old eventually decides to leave the Etihad.
City are also interested in bringing in Atletico midfielder Rodri as Fernandinho's successor
