Marco Asensio has refused to rule out the prospect of Neymar joining him at Real Madrid as the Spanish giants continue to work on a deal for the PSG star.

Club president Florentino Perez is keen to land the former Barcelona forward this summer, despite him being less than a season into a long-term contract in Paris.

Neymar is believed to want the move after becoming frustrated with life in Ligue 1 - and Asensio thinks a move to the Bernabeu is a possibility.

Speaking about Neymar, Asensio told El Larguero: 'He's a great player.

'He has demonstrated that at both Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain. We'll see if we happen to meet [in the same team].'

As well as Neymar, Asensio also had his say on two of the world's other great players - team-mate Cristiano Ronaldo and rival Lionel Messi, who has fired Barcelona 15 points clear of Real Madrid at the top of La Liga.
