Bordeaux forward Malcom has admitted the time has come for him to depart the French club and fulfil his 'dream' of playing for a club like Bayern Munich.

The 21-year-old, who joined from Corinthians in 2016, is in the midst of his third season with the Ligue 1 outfit and has established himself as one of the most highly-rated players in the league.

Premier League sides Arsenal and Tottenham have previously been linked with the Brazilian but were turned away by Bordeaux.

However, Les Girondins may have a tougher time preventing German giants Bayern from getting their man as they seek to find a successor to ageing wide men Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery.

And Malcom, who has contributed eight goals and seven assists in all competitions this term, has revealed he is looking to secure a move come the summer.

'I think it's time,' the Brazilian told Sky Deutschland. 'I've done a good job here and I'm grateful to Bordeaux, but I need a new challenge now, I have to set new goals.

'Bayern is one of the biggest clubs in the world. It would be a dream to play there some day. Everyone knows Bayern Munich.

'It makes me very happy that they think about me. I will continue to work hard on me. Who knows, a change to Munich may soon become a reality.

'The Premier League is also a very interesting option,' he added. 'I learned the language quickly, had no major difficulties.

'French was much harder, so in England I would be fine, but in the end, I'd integrate anywhere.'
