  • Alisson's agent Ze Maria Neis said his client was one of the world's best keepers
  • The Roma goalkeeper is Brazil's first-choice ahead of Manchester City's Ederson

Alisson's agent insists his client is happy playing for Roma and has denied that the club have received any approach from Liverpool.

The 25-year-old's form for Roma this campaign has seen him linked with a move to Anfield, where neither Simon Mignolet or Loris Karius have convinced in goal.

But Alisson's agent insists they are yet to receive an approach from Liverpool and that his client is '100 per cent' committed to life at the Stadio Olimpico.

'Alisson is certainly one of the best goalkeepers in the world,' Ze Maria Neis told The Sun. 'He loves Roma, 100 per cent.

'Will he sign a new contract? Now he is focused only in Serie A and on the Champions League.

'We have a great relationship with Roma. We never spoke with Liverpool about him. Now Alisson only thinks in present time. I don't know how much he will cost. It depends about Roma and the transfer market.'

Alisson has been in outstanding form since replacing Wojciech Szczesny as Roma's first-choice goalkeeper for the 2017-18 campaign.

The Brazilian is first-choice for his country ahead of Manchester City stopper Ederson and is favourite to start at the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

Alisson had previously admitted he was flattered by being linked to Real Madrid but said he remained focused on life in the Italian capital.

'Those links massage the ego, it cannot be denied. People get satisfaction when you are being recognised by any club,' Alisson said to Globoesporte earlier this month.

'I am very happy to have this recognition, that says to me that I am doing my work well and they are noticing.

'I'm focused on things at Roma, but it is especially nice when we are talking about Real Madrid.

'And as I said, it does not affect what I have been doing on the field and in my income for Rome, because I am very focused on this moment. But I am happy, yes, for the recognition of all.'
