'There is no way that he or anyone else can leave': Carlo Ancelotti warns Chelsea away from Lucas Digne as he insists Everton will NOT have to sell their stars to fund window spend
- Chelsea are keen on Everton's Lucas Digne as an alternative to Ben Chilwell
- Other stars like Mason Holgate and Richarlison have been linked away from club
- But Carlo Ancelotti insists Everton do not need to sell to fund signings in window
Carlo Ancelotti has warned Everton will not be pressurised into selling any of their star performers as he mapped out his vision for the future.
Lucas Digne, the impressive left-back, is on Chelsea's radar as an alternative to Leicester's Ben Chilwell while Mason Holgate and Richarlison have all been linked with moves when the transfer window opens.
Ancelotti, however, made it clear in the strongest possible terms that Everton's finances are in good order for them to be competitive in the market - they are monitoring Southampton captain Pierre-Emile Hojberg - and he does not have to bring money in to make that happen.

Asked if he envisaged any of top players leaving, Ancelotti said: 'No way. At this moment, there are a lot of rumours.
'Lucas Digne is an important player for us, so there is no way that he or anyone else can leave.'
Hojberg, who has been dropped by Southampton after expressing his desire to move on, is on Everton's radar.

The Dane had left Bayern Munich before Ancelotti worked in Germany and the Italian would not rule out the prospect of moving for him.
'I know Hojbjerg, he's a good player,' said Ancelotti. 'He is playing for Southampton, so I don't want to talk about another Premier League player and that we are playing against soon.
'I can give an opinion about him at the end of the season.'
