When Philippe Coutinho completed his dream move to Barcelona in January 2018 it was thought the Brazilian would take his game to the next level.

And the fans of the club he left, Liverpool, were fearing that everything Jurgen Klopp was building at the club would go back another few steps.

But football works in mysterious ways and since Coutinho's departure, the Reds have improved massively and won the Champions League final earlier this month.

Meanwhile, the last season and a half has been nightmarish for Coutinho, who has really struggled to adapt to life at the Camp Nou.

He's even been booed by his own fans at points and although Coutinho, 27, appears pretty determined to make a go of it at Barca, the club's hierarchy could well be running out of patience for him.

Coutinho's future is somewhat under the spotlight, with the likes of Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain reportedly showing an interest in him.
