He told talkSPORT’s Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast show: “The best pro has got to be Terry, he was just brilliant.

“The way he talks to you, the way he just gets in the zone.

“He changed everything at half-time, brand new kit, brand new boots, I loved it. He had a shower!”

Sitting alongside Max Rushden in the studio, Arsenal favourite Ray Parlour admitted his surprise.

"I never had a shower at half-time! You change your shirt because you should be sweating."

Piers Morgan’s World XI beat Susanna Reid’s England on penalties after drawing 2-2 in normal time.

Love Island’s Kem Cetinay glided past Terry to net a late equaliser for the World XI to take the game to penalties at Stamford Bridge.

And Morgan’s side won 3-1 after Mark Wright, Joe Wicks and Lee Mack missed their spot-kicks.
