Paris Saint-Germain owner Nasser Al-Khelaifi insists the French club will no longer tolerate 'celebrity behaviour'.

The stern warning comes as reports suggest the perennial Ligue 1 champions are willing to sell star man Neymar this summer.

The Brazilian has been plagued by ankle injuries this year and received domestic and European bans last season.

Neymar was handed a three-game suspension for hitting a fan following PSG’s French Cup final defeat to Rennes in May.

He was also given a three-game Champions League ban for insulting officials on social media after his side’s shock last-16 exit to Manchester United in March.

In an interview with France Football, Khelaifi appeared to suggest he wants to eradicate that sort of behaviour from PSG.

He said: “Players will have to assume their responsibilities even more than before.

“It must be completely different. They will have to do more, work more.

“They are not there to please themselves. And if they do not agree, the doors are open. Ciao!

“I do not want to have any celebrity behaviour anymore.”

French outlet L’Equipe report PSG are willing to accept a ‘large offer’ for Neymar.

The 27-year-old joined the French giants in a world-record £200million deal from Barcelona in 2017.

He has won back-to-back Ligue 1 titles, but the club have failed to get past the last 16 stage in the Champions League.
