The first game is at Anfield on Tuesday night and while Bayern are not the same team they were under Pep Guardiola or when they won the competition in 2013 under Jupp Heynckes, Liverpool will have to bring their 'A Game' to get past them.

The last time Liverpool played a German team in the Champions League was against Bayer Leverkusen in 2005 and of course, whenever someone mentions that year, every Reds supporter immediately thinks of when they last won the competition with a thrilling victory over AC Milan in Istanbul.
Liverpool, who were managed by Rafael Benitez at the time, beat Leverkusen 3-1 at Anfield before winning by the same scoreline in the second leg in Germany - going through 6-2 on aggregate.
