The European transfer window is still open so there could be plenty of deals to be done involving Premier League clubs before the end of the month.

Manchester City chiefs are ready to sit down with John Stones over extending his deal after an impressive World Cup showing. The 24-year-old defender was a standout performer for Gareth Southgate’s England side during their Russia heroics.  Stones has a contract on £120,000-a-week, which does not run out until the summer of 2022, but is expected to be offered around another £50,000-a-week on his new deal. Andrew Robertson is NOT in discussions over a new Liverpool contract and there won't be any over the course of this season. There is no rush for a new deal for the popular full-back as he still has four years to run on the contract he penned last July and it is heavily incentivised, which means that his consistency and development will be recognised financially without the need for the Reds to draft an extension. Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is happy for goalkeeper Loris Karius to leave Anfield before the end of the month, with the 25-year-old in talks over a move to Turkish side Besiktas. (Daily Mirror)

Liverpool are ready to let Divock Origi leave before the European transfer window closes at the end of the month. Origi, the forward, has slipped down the pecking order at Anfield since Jurgen Klopp’s appointment as manager, and he spent last season on loan at Wolfsburg in the Bundesliga. FULL STORY HERE.

RB Leipzig have made an improved offer of £22million for Everton forward Ademola Lookman. The 20-year-old, who signed for Everton in January 2017, impressed on loan at the Bundesliga club during the second half of last season. FULL STORY HERE.

Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea is close to signing a new £200,000-a-week contract at Old Trafford. (Daily Mirror)

Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek will seek to leave the club on loan if he is not guaranteed regular game time this season. The 22-year-old was not in the squad for Saturday’s 3-2 win over Arsenal and he will talk to club officials this week about his future. (The Sun)

Meanwhile, Blues striker Alvaro Morata has said "there was never a thought" he would leave Stamford Bridge this summer, despite speculation over his future. (Daily Mail)

Arsenal have made no progress over a new deal for Wales midfielder Aaron Ramsey, whose contract expires next summer. The 27-year-old has been linked with a move away from the Gunners, with Chelsea and Man United reportedly interested. (The Sun)

Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino says he is "so tired" of discussing transfers, having signed no new players over the summer transfer window. (Sky Sports)
