Dani Ceballos ‘hoping to force through Liverpool move’ during talks with Real Madrid president Florentino Perez

Wantaway midfielder Dani Ceballos has held further talks with Real Madrid president Florentino Perez in the hope of forcing through a move to Liverpool, according to reports in Spain.

The 21-year-old is growing desperate to leave the Bernabeu this summer having made just 19 appearances for the Spanish giants this term.

Liverpool are among a number of clubs keeping close tabs on Ceballos' situation and are hopeful of striking a deal with Real to bring him to the Premier League.

The Spain under-21 international is reportedly keen to fill the void left by Philippe Coutinho, who joined Real's arch-rivals Barcelona during the January window.

And, according to Sport, Ceballos has held further conversations with president Perez over a potential summer exit.

Liverpool believe they can snap up the exciting midfielder for just £30million in the summer and are hopeful that Ceballos' desire to leave for Anfield could prove decisive.
