Manchester United news: Jose Mourinho blasted Paul Pogba after interrupting TV interview

The row between Jose Mourinho and Paul Pogba appears to have reached a new level, with reports the Manchester United manager blasted the midfielder after he interrupted one of his post-match interviews.

Mourinho was being interviewed by Match of the Day when Pogba stepped into the makeshift studio and shook hands with his boss, in celebration of their 2-1 victory over rivals Liverpool earlier this month.

The Red Devils boss didn’t appear to be bothered by this at the time and seemed the laugh it off.

But, according to a report in The Sun, Mourinho was furious with Pogba and confronted him about the incident afterwards.

The report claims that, while Pogba may have been trying to publicly show there was no hard feelings between the pair, Mourinho saw his antics as disrespectful in front of the TV cameras.

It is also suggested this was the reason behind Pogba not starting United’s next two games.

The record £89million signing missed the victory over Liverpool after suffering an injury at the end of training the previous day.

He was passed fit to face Sevilla in the Champions League last Thursday and Brighton in the FA Cup at the weekend, but started both games on the bench.
