Design

There are plenty of true wireless earphones out there that draw inspiration from the AirPods or are just boring to look at. The Klipsch T5 True Wireless avoids this conundrum with a little tweak here and there to offer a slightly different experience.

The first thing you will notice about the Klipsch T5 is the aluminum case. It is heavy and sports a brushed look, which sets it apart from most other cases which are made of glossy plastic. Its weight makes it feel substantial when you’re holding it in your hand. This also makes it fun to flip it open like you would a zippo lighter.

The case has a USB Type-C port for charging and also has three LED lights to indicate the charge level.

Flipping the case open reveals the two earbuds, both secured inside using magnets. This ensures that the earbuds don’t fall out on their own.

The earbuds are simple when it comes to design – they have a black finish with branding on the front. The sound tube is long which allows it to go deep enough to filter out a lot of external noise. Klipsch bundles three ear tips in the box – small, medium and large. The overall fit was good, although there is some scope for improvement in this area.

Both the earbuds also have a button so you can control the music playback, receive/end calls or activate the voice assistant.

Overall, the Klipsch T5 delivers a well-rounded experience across genres, so even if you are picky about earphones, you will like them.

In terms of battery life, the Klipsch T5 easily last an entire day of calls and music, which is approximately around 7-8 hours of usage. The case adds an additional 24 hours of battery life, and it also supports fast charging, so you’re up and running really quickly.

The call quality and connectivity are also excellent, but we experienced a couple of hiccups initially while pairing the earphones. Beyond that, the Klipsch T5 was reliable.
