Nintendo Switch Lite Flip Cover & Screen Protector Makes It Look Like A Little Like A 3DS

Nintendo will be offering an official screen protection system for the Nintendo Switch Lite. The company has announced the Nintendo Switch Lite Flip Cover & Screen Protector. This accessory brings the Nintendo 2DS XL and 3DS clam shell design design to the newest model of the system, giving people a way to protect it and keep it safe starting on December 8, 2019.

The December 8, 2019 launch date for the Nintendo Switch Lite Flip Cover & Screen Protector only applies to online sales. It will initially only be available through the company’s official website and other, unnamed online stores for $39.99. After this period of exclusivity, people will be able to find it in retail locations in early 2020.

Since the preliminary image from Nintendo may not make it clear, the Nintendo Switch Lite Flip Cover & Screen Protector comes with two items. You get the Flip Cover, which goes around the system like a clam shell. It also comes with a clear, protective sheet you apply to the screen to protect it.

The Nintendo Switch Lite is immediately available, and the Flip Cover & Screen Protector will appear online on December 8, 2019.
