Items included in the limited physical release of Ikaruga for PS4 and Switch in Japan:

  • Ikaruga software
  • Reversible cover (Including a Treasure logo on the interior side)
  • Special packaging
  • Fully-colored manual
  • “Ikaruga” model by Model Earth

Unfortunately, this limited physical edition will only be available in Japan. It’s also worth noting that the content will be the exact same as the digital version released in May/June 2018.

On a more positive note, we’ll get physical copies of Ikaruga from Nicalis in North America and Europe sometime in 2020. We still don’t have an exact release date, but the publisher recently shared the following tweet with a look at the cartridge and disc:

Ikaruga will release its physical editions in for PS4 and Switch in Japan on September 24, 2020. The game is currently available for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
