With everything going on in the world right now with the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, it's easy to get into a negative mindset. With The Last of Us Part 2 getting delayed indefinitely last week, gamers are in need of some good news and CD Project Red has seemed to give us that by stating that Cyberpunk 2077 is still very much on track for a September release. Another positive touch is that creative artists are taking pencil in hand and showcasing their talents more than ever before. One such skilled individual is Adrián Hernández who recently illustrated a vibrant Rockergirl character from the upcoming game, Cyberpunk 2077.

Adrián Hernández, a concept and Illustration artist from Spain, created a unique and bold character from the Cyberpunk 2077 universe using an array of bright and vivid paints after sketching out the drawing he has called 'Saga Rebellia, Rockergirl in Night City'. The Rockerboys/girls in Cyberpunk 2077 are the street poets, social consciences and rebels of the 2000s who love rock music and even dress up as 80s punk rockers too with Johnny Silverhand being the ultimate Rockerboy. Adrian has definitely created a character worthy of a role in Cyberpunk 2077 that would fit it perfectly with the other Rockerboys with her pink, hair-sprayed big hair, bright purple lipstick, and radical out there image.

One place you probably don't want to be in at the moment is a Subway train. Given that they are pretty nasty and uncomfortable at the best of times, Cyberpunk 2077 thought that they would refresh your memory and offer a free wallpaper showcasing the Night City’s many subway stations as well as adding a little stress into the image by inserting armored police officers with futuristic rifles and metal riot shields. As exciting as the thought of getting our hands finally on Cyberpunk 2077 is, CD Projekt Red has confirmed that the next Witcher game will begin once Cyberpunk 2077 launches. CD Projekt Red President Adam Kiciński said that some effort has already gone into the studio’s next title. “We have already been working on another single-player game; we have created a relatively clear concept that is waiting for further development,” said Kiciński via translation. “And this is already happening, although we do not want to spend time at the moment.”

Cyberpunk 2077 is set to release on PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Stadia later this year on September 17. A version of the game upgraded for Xbox Series X is also said to be in the pipeline, too.
