The amount of updates and announcements Treyarch has made this week is honestly getting a bit exhausting, however, at least they are ending with some great news. After promising the feature before the game even launched, the developer has revealed that starting next week, players will be able to create custom Blackout matches.

While players won't, obviously, be able to host 100 game lobbies, they will be able to bring 11 of their friends into the games itself in order to explore every single little bit of the massive map. According to Treyarch, each custom game can be played in Solos, Duos, or Quads, and will include full character customization. As of the time of this writing, it's unknown if players will be able to change the rules of the match, although I expect they'll be able to.

In addition to custom Blackout games, the standard mode is also set to support camos when the update goes live, which will be activated from the armory menu.
