With just a few more days until its release, anticipation is building for the upcoming PS4-exclusive Detroit: Become Human, and now you can get a taste for the game's vision of the future through a new short film specifically crafted by Quantic Dream.

Developer Quantic Dream has released a new video leading up to this week's release of Detroit: Become Human. The video, titled "Kamski," is the first of four short films that Quantic Dream is releasing that tie into the story of Detroit and expand on the game's world and setting. "Kamski," specifically, explores the backstory of Elijah Kamski, the young researcher who travels to Detroit and creates the world's first Android.

The studio will be releasing three of the short films in the days leading up to Detroit's release, while a fourth, exclusive short will release with the final game this week. All four short films will be contained in the "Extras" section of Detroit: Become Human, and all four of the films are original scenes that are not contained within the game itself, giving viewers some specially-created looks at the game's world and characters.

Detroit: Become Human will release exclusively for PS4 on May 25th, 2018. For a closer look at the game before its release, you can check out the first of the game's four short films below, and you still have time to pre-order the game before its launch via Amazon.
