Frontier has announced that dino park-'em-up Jurassic World Evolution has sold one million copies worldwide in five weeks.

The game launched on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One as a digital download on June 12, and was released physically on July 3. The sales milestone takes into account both digital and retail sales of the title.

'We are really pleased with Jurassic World Evolution and are delighted to have crossed the 1 million unit threshold so quickly,' said an obviously chuffed David Braben, CEO of Frontier.

'There is no doubt that initial sales have benefited from the worldwide awareness created by the film release, but it's the quality of the game that's really important and I believe our team have done a terrific job in creating a game that a wide range of players are now enjoying around the world.'

Jurassic World Evolution nabbed a bunch of talent from the films, including B.W. Wong's Dr. Henry Wu, Bryce Dallas Howard's Claire Dearing, and of course the legendary Jeff Goldblum.

Fun fact: Now TV arranged for a 25ft statue of Jeff to be displayed near Tower Bridge in London yesterday. He's posing seductively without his shirt on to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Jurassic Park, recreating that famous moment from the 1993 dino flick.
